Materials
FSQ bearing housings are manufactured as standard from grey cast iron. For applications requiring increased mechanical strength, selected housings are available in spheroidal graphite cast iron (ductile iron) or cast steel. Stainless steel housings can also be supplied for corrosive or hygienic environments.
For heavy-duty applications demanding higher load capacity, FSQ manufactures bearing housing series such as SN, SNK, SD, and SAF. These housings feature solid base designs and can be drilled to accommodate either two- or four-bolt mounting configurations.
Seals
Several different seals can be supplied. All rubber seals can be used at temperatures between -40 ºC and
+ 100ºC.
Seals for temperature over 100ºC are also available upon request. Many other types of bearing housings not listed in this catalog and variants of listed housings adapted to customer demands can also be supplied.
